This kit includes seven accessories and two handy attachments.
The tool paired with all of the other versatile accessories from Dremel (sold separately) provides single-speed convenience for even more applications like carving & engraving, routing, cleaning & polishing, sanding, drilling and more. Its single-speed setting is perfect for high-speed use in a variety of materials, including wood, metal, plastic and more.
Sharpening Chainsaws with the Dremel 100-LG and 1453 Attachment
The Dremel 100-LG includes the Dremel 1453 chain saw sharpening attachment that is ideal for sharpening chainsaws. To sharpen your chainsaw, simply attach the Dremel 1453 to the Dremel 100-LG rotary tool, and begin on near side teeth, keeping the line on the guide parallel to the chain at a recommended speed of 35,000 RPM.
A few light strokes on each tooth will sharpen them. From there, sharpen the far side, keeping the back edge of the guide parallel to the chain, using the same number of strokes as the near side. After completing the top bar, advance the chain with a gloved hand, and continue the same process as before until completed.
Sharpening Shears with the Dremel 100-LG and 675 Attachment
The Dremel 100-LG includes the Dremel 675 lawn mower and garden tool sharpener that is ideal for sharpening shears. To sharpen shears, begin by securing your shears to a workbench and wipe any loose debris off the blades. Attach the 675 attachment to your Dremel 100-LG rotary tool, and make multiple light passes along the edge of the shears until sharpened.
Cutting Gutter Guard with the Dremel 100-LG and 426 Attachment
The Dremel 100-LG includes two Dremel 426 reinforned cut-off wheels that are ideal for cutting gutter guard. To cut gutter guard, use the Dremel 100-LG rotary tool with a 426 reinfornced cut-off wheel mounted to an EZ Lock mandrel (not included but this attachment is sold seperately and allows you to cut the desired length of gutter guard).
To start, mount your attachment and then set your mandrel and wheel in place. Set your Dremel 100-LG tool to a high speed and apply light pressure to the area you are cutting. As a tip, if you notice excess chattering, increase the speed of your tool for improved results. Using the same tool set up and process, cut a new downspout to size using the tool to complete the task.
